Community Projects at Abbey Delray South

Explore the many ways giving through The Lifespace Foundation has impacted the Abbey Delray South community.

Pineapple Terrace

Because of the generosity of residents, the Foundation was able to fund the building of the Pineapple Terrace offering an outdoor dining option. The Foundation’s Tropical Terrace refurbishment of the Health Center outdoor area provides a safe and easy way for residents receiving care there to enjoy the outdoors.

Memory Care Art Project

Abbey Delray South’s Foundation funds were utilized to create a memory care art project that displays lesser known paintings and prints of famous artists to inspire memory recall and for the general enjoyment of the residents in memory care.

TED Talks

In 2020, the Foundation at Abbey Delray South responded to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by initiating TED Talk based conversations aimed at combating loneliness and offering valuable support during difficult times.
