Wesley Court

Nestled on 70 beautifully landscaped acres in Abilene, TX, Wesley Court was one of the first retirement settings in West Texas to provide a full continuum of services for residents in one location. Since then, it has become a standard-setting retirement destination. Wesley Court is a private residential neighborhood consisting of executive and garden homes, independent living apartments, assisted living apartments, and private nursing care rooms.

Rooftop Garden

Resident gardeners Dorothy and Brenda have brought the rooftop garden blooming to life through two small grants from the Foundation at Oak Trace. This provides a serene escape where every resident can unplug and connect with nature.

Scholarships

After campaigning enthusiastically for the first three months of this year, Oak Trace residents also raised over $40,000 for team member scholarships, providing 16 scholarships this year.

New Flagpole

Oak Trace celebrated the grand opening of the community’s new redevelopment, including a Foundation-funded flagpole and honoring a new vendor sponsor, Walsh Construction

Want to Start a Project at Wesley Court?

The Lifespace Foundation is dedicated to supporting the goals and aspirations of our residents. We empower them to shape their own communities in the ways they find most meaningful. If you’d like to start a project at Wesley Court, here’s how to get started.

  1. Approach your Executive Director and volunteer to serve and help convene the inaugural Foundation Advisory Committee at Wesley Court and bring an interested friend.
  2. Once your Executive Director has enough interested residents and someone who is willing to chair, they and someone from the Foundation team will help you get started.
  3. You will be provided with a project form, that you can then fill out, outlining what you hope to achieve, timelines, impact on the community, the specific amount of funding needed, and any ongoing costs for the community.
  4. The newly convened committee will review and evaluate your proposal, vote on it, or request additional information before approving or rejecting.

Wesley Court Foundation Advisory Committee
