Claridge Court

Claridge Court installed a plaque honoring the donors who contributed nearly $700,000 for the health center terrace project, adding an accessible, beautiful, and comfortable outdoor space for those residents to enjoy.

This year, with funding from the Foundation, they created and installed a Wall of Honor recognizing the veterans and military spouses in their community. In addition, they created an outdoor gaming area dubbed “the Claridge Green” with bocce ball, croquet, and putting green and commissioned a beautiful mural in that same area, creating the illusion of an archway opening to the inner courtyard.

Friendship Village of Bloomington

Several years ago, the generous residents of FVB came together and raised $2.5 million to build their state-of-the-art fitness center, helping them to fully enjoy activity and exercise, especially in the beautiful pool. This year they reprised their now annual “Celebrating our Foundation” event, in the format of a Murder Mystery dinner and auction. In addition to having a wonderful time, the 178 residents in attendance contributed a combined $44,300 for the Foundation there. In addition, the foundation has funded programming for spiritual care providing for celebrations for Hannukah, Passover, and the Lunar New Year.
