Jean, resident at GreenFields of Geneva, has lived there since the community opened. About making the decision, she says, “I needed a plan because I didn’t have any family who would be able to help me, if I began to need help as I got older.” She remembers going to a sales event before the community was built and put her deposit down right away.
Jean has donated the refundable portion of her entry fee back to the Foundation. She said it was an easy decision. Jean is compelled by the need for benevolent care, it was part of what convinced her to join the community at GreenFields and understands that the need will continue to grow. Because our communities have so much to offer, many of our residents are living longer, healthier lives than they’d ever dreamed, and some will outlive their resources.
